Roselea Nursery was founded in 1981 by John Coles, whose lifelong passion for horticulture and commitment to growing high-quality produce laid the foundations for everything we continue to do today.
John believed that people deserved access to fresh fruit, vegetables and plants that were grown with care, harvested at the right time and sold by people who genuinely understood what they were producing. His dedication to quality, combined with a strong work ethic and a passion for supporting the local community, quickly earned Roselea Nursery an excellent reputation throughout the Felixstowe area.
Over the years, what started as a commercial growing nursery gradually evolved to meet the needs of local customers. As more people began visiting to purchase freshly grown produce and seasonal plants, Roselea expanded into the welcoming farm shop and nursery that visitors know and enjoy today.
Although much has changed since those early days, John’s original vision remains at the heart of the business: providing exceptional products, honest advice and friendly service in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Following John’s passing in 2015, Roselea Nursery entered a new chapter as Sally, Steven and Toni took on the responsibility of continuing the family business.
With a shared passion for horticulture and customer service, they have remained committed to preserving everything that has made Roselea so special while continuing to develop the nursery for future generations.
Today, the same family values continue to shape every aspect of the business. From carefully selecting seasonal plants to sourcing quality local produce, every decision is made with customers and the local community in mind.
